Description johandahl 2008-06-02 12:56:11 UTC
In the Swedish version of OOo 3.0 is there a menu called "Fil" then no window is
showing. This contains items for opening a new document of different kinds and
also an existing one:

Fil
--------
Textdokument ⌘T
Tabelldokument ⌘A
Presentation ⌘P
Teckning ⌘E
Databas ⌘D
Från mall ⌘F
Öppna dokument... Shift⌘Ö

This is wrong. Several of these shortcuts already has different meanings.
Command-A is Select All, Command-P is Print and so on. And Command-Shift-Ö (o
umlaut) for opening a file should use Command-O

A better solution would be to use the Ooo Quickstarter menus when no window is open.

See http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=90251

This would make the application feel more mac-like.

The shortcuts for the document accelerators are created automatically, following
the general rule that they should resemble the text of the item. Since in the
state where the quickstart menu shows there is nothing to print I don't think
the use will assume that Cmd-P will print something.

Since the menu is the one of the quickstarter anyway, I consider this a
duplicate to issue 90251.
