A Writer file containing frames and pictures. Used to create the crash.

I have experienced several crashes after cutting and pasting a Frame containing a picture.

For you to reproduce this error, I will append directions and a file to use them on.

recreation:
open the file test.odt
scroll to the bottom
cut the frame with the picture
go to page 10
paste the frame with the picture

on the other hand, resizing the above mentioned frame to 49% and cutting/pasting at that size works fine and then resizing back to 50% works if circumventing the issue, that arises due to "keep scale ratio"

I can not confirm the bug. I can cut and paste with CTRL+X and CTRL+V without crash, on win7 32 bit.
How do you cut and paste the frame?
Comment 2 Marcus 2011-10-22 11:14:01 UTC
The same for me on Linux, no crash.
Comment 3 apache.OOo 2011-10-23 14:45:58 UTC
Well, the issue still arises in my version.

fyi, the crash actually is a lockup, so I get 50% (dual-core system) cpu usage and the application does not respond any more. The only way to close it is to close the task or the process.

win 7 x64, all Windows updates installed.

I can do a screencast, if it helps ... maybe I can enable some debug option as well, to show what functions are called.

I usually cut and paste using keyboard shortcuts, but using the right-click-menu results in the same situation.

Windows 7, 64-bit, cannot reproduce the crash/hang. Since this has been open for over a year without anyone reproducing it I'm going to close it.
